Name: Noèle Cloutier

Race (if vampire, from which line?): Human
Background: Noèle has lived in Mystic Falls all of her life. She was born and raised there and found she fit in well wherever she went. Everyone seemed to like her, genuinely, and everything always seemed to be going her way. She had excellent grades, boys liked here (though she wasn't interested in dating any of them because she was waiting for her Prince, whoever that was), and she got along great with her family. That was until the Gilbert parents drown when they drove off the bridge. Their daughter had survived, a girl she had gone to school with, and things in Mystic Falls just seemed to go downhill from there. People started to die left and right in Mystic Falls, whispers of animal attacks (or vampires) started to erupt all over the place. She didn't realize that these changes would change her life as well. She didn't expect to meet Jeremy Gilbert, the real Jeremy Gilbert, and find that Prince (if that's what you wanted to call him) that she was looking for.

Background: Indiana is an only child living with a father that pays more attention to his work than he does to her. He works for the FBI and often has to leave Mystic Falls to help on cases with the other members at Quantico. So she often finds that she has to fend for herself, though he never leaves a lack of money in her bank account. She may be spoiled, but she craved the attention that she never got from her father. Male attention was exactly what she needed, so when Damon Salvatore rolled into town she couldn't help but notice his intense eyes and sculpted jaw. She stayed away though, not wanting to be disappointed again. He wouldn't let her keep her distance for too long, though, because he could almost smell her attraction to him and he loved a challenge. She knew she couldn't resist long and that scared her, but she had no idea just how scared she should be.

Name: Marianna Falk
Age: 30
Race (if vampire, from which line?): Human
Background: Marianna is a fiction author. She travels around the world writing fantasy and romance novels in quiet places with great history. That is how she found Mystic Falls. The stories of the small town in Virginia had reached her in her current residence in Boston, so she packed up her bags (what few she had) and relocated. Upon arriving she discovered that the place was a perfect place for her to write her next book. She wanted to base it there in Mystic Falls and wanted to learn all she could about the little town. She didn't realize that her digging into the past would bring her right in the middle of the happenings in Mystic Falls. After being introduced to Ric Saltzman by the mayor she finds herself intrigued and eventually infatuated with the man; only to find that her infatuation would bring her even deeper into the hole that she had dug herself by moving to this little town.

Background: Demi was born and raised in Mystic Falls. She had a family who loved her, a boyfriend who drove her nuts, and had some great friends. She was on the cheer leading squad and everything seemed to be going pretty well, if you left out the boyfriend drama. That was until the night her parents died. She woke up in the hospital, unaware of how she got there, only to discover that she was the only one to survive. She went back to her everyday life, but nothing felt quite right. That was until she met Stefan. He was dreamy, of course, but she felt drawn to him in quite a different way. Someone he felt like family, someone she could trust no matter what, and knew that he would protect her.

Background: Ramona was born in 1631 in Poland where she was one of eight children. One night men began to burn down her village, killing anyone they could get their hands on, including much of her own family members. She managed to escape into the forest behind her home with two of her older siblings, only to get separated in the dark. She would never see them again.
She came across a man when she finally reached the other side of the woods and he promised to get her away from there, free of charge, because his family had also died in the fires. He took her out of the country and to Germany, where he left her in the care of an elderly couple. She began to take care of them until one day they passed and she was all alone. One day she returned to her home village, only to find that it had never been rebuilt, and in its place was a very large graveyard for all of those who had lost their lives. Among the stones and statues she found her family. She fell to her knees and wept. The year was 1654 and there is where she met Elijah.
He helped her from the ground and asked if he could buy her a meal. She accepted and there was where she told him her story. He asked her if she wished to be rid of the pain and to live on, forever, living the life her family never could. She was confused and in her confusion agreed. He turned her and told her she had to feed or she would die. She chose to feed. It wasn't long before Elijah too disappeared and left her alone once more. Though she did not know that one day they would meet again... In a different country, hundreds of years into the future.

Name Madison "Madi" Vacik
Age: 17
Race (if vampire, from which line?): Werewolf (has not been activated)
Background: Madison grew up in Florida with her parents, two brothers, and younger sister. Everyone was always very busy and they didn't have much of a family life. They all loved each other regardless, though. Madison knew that her parents were hiding something from her. They went on trips when she was growing up, once a month, and left her and her siblings with her grandmother. They never did tell them where they were going. Later in life her eldest brother joined them and soon followed the other brother. Only her and her sister were left behind.
Finally Madison had had it. She got in her car one night and followed them. They seemed to drive into the middle of nowhere where other people were waiting for them. That's when she witnessed their turning. People chaining themselves up and turning into wolves. She got back into her car and drove home, swearing not to ever bring it up. Her father cornered her upon their return and asked why she had followed them. She went to ask how he had known, but before she could he answered with "I could smell you". She got mad at him for hiding this from her and he apologized, agreeing to tell her about their family.
Now she fears that one day she too will be turned every full moon.

Background: Ornella is an artistic girl who tends to keep to herself, but she longs to make friends and find the social life her older sister always had. She draws, paints, does graffiti, sews, you name it. It's all a way to keep herself from being let down by those around her. She's afraid she'll make friends who leave her like everyone else has.
Ornella is adopted. She lives with a bunch of other children who were also adopted. She never knew her real parents because they left her in a diner only a week after she was born with a note about her birth date and what they would have named her; Ornella. She hated the name and often told people to just call her Ella.

Background: Eliana is Madison Vacik's aunt, her mother's sister, and she moves to Mystic Falls after the death of her long time boyfriend to be closer to her sister. She gets a job as a receptionist at a spa and does her best to lay low close to each full moon. She realizes soon that she's walked into a vampire infested town and hopes that she can keep her family safe while they remain in Mystic Falls. What she doesn't expect is to meet a man who suffers from the same curse as her; especially one so handsome.

Background: Sariah was born and raised in Cambridge, England. She was one of eight children; and the only girl. She was very close with her father because of this and he often doted on her and spoiled her. On her 17th birthday she went on a horse ride with two of her brothers to pick strawberries, because she loved them, when they came across a well dressed man with beautiful hair and eyes. Her brothers were suspicious of him from the start, but she was immediately attracted to the stranger so she said hello. They spoke, he wished her a happy birthday, and the three of them went on their way. They did not expect to be followed by the man who quickly killed her brothers and turned to kill her. She pleaded with him that she did not wish to die, especially on her birthday, and so he took pity upon her. He bit her though, as he had her brothers, and when she awoke after dark she had begun the transition. Upon arriving home she found her entire family slaughtered. She drank their blood from their still warm bodies and finished the transition. She remained in Cambridge for a few more years as the poor girl whose family was murdered before deciding to move on. She has been traveling ever since and found herself in the United States in the late 1700s where she decided to live. She remained in the New York and Massachusetts area before decided to look into the infamous Mystic Falls. She enrolled in school there where he found Stefan and later found so much more. What she didn't expect was to care for so many people she would meet there and she never thought that the man who had turned her and killed her entire family would someday walk back into her life as well.

Background: Isabella was born and raised in Ireland. Her family died of illness and left her alone. She soon met a woman who told her about a man who had turned her into an immortal being and that she could give Isabella eternal life. Isabella had longed to have a second chance at life and to be able to see the world and agreed. She did not entirely believe that what this woman said was true, but she was too drunk on sadness to care. Thus began her life as a vampire.
She took to traveling after that, painting for a living, until she ended up in Mystic Falls in 1860. There she met the Salvatore boys and Katherine Pierce. She hated Katherine from the beginning, but had a soft spot for both of the Salvatore boys. She stuck close to them until the town began to hunt the vampires in Mystic Falls. She left, promising she would return to see them again one day, but when she returned they were gone.
Years later she hears of Stefan's return to Mystic Falls and decides to return herself, hoping to rekindle the friendship she had built with the brothers all too long ago.
