Name: Bale Durand/Belrim Caldack Age: 85 Background: Belrim is the son of two survivors of the attack under the mountain that occurred during King Thrór's rule. He was born into a world where his family and fellow dwarves had nothing. As he grew into a young man, he was always fond of Thorin Oakenshield, grandson of Thrór; so when the time came for Thorin to gather his traveling companions for the siege of the Lonely Mountain, it wasn't a hard decision for him to make. Thorin asked him to join their party, and he did so enthusiastically.
