Name: Desmond Silas Biel III
Age: 17
Race (if Vampire, from which line): Human
Background: Desmond was born and raised in Mystic Falls and always seemed to get along with just about everyone. His family loved him, his friends adored him, and he did well in school. He battles with a terrible case of self-abhorrence even though he hides it very well. He's an insomniac and often stays up into the early mornings reading and writing stories. When he does dream, he dreams of a life outside of the boring and monotonous life that's been created for him in Mystic Falls. He craves something... more.

Name: Marcin Kowalczyk
Age: 108
Race (if Vampire, which line): Vampire, Rebekah
Background: Marcin was born in Poland in 1901 to his mother and father. He had one older brother who treated him like a curse to the family, his mother seemed to often agree with him. She often beat him longer than needed during punishments for wrongdoings, and his father had to jump in and save him more often than not.
When World War I broke out and men were being taken to war, Marcin's father and brother were forced to join, leaving him behind with his mother. Three years into the war, he and his mother got news of his brother's death. With this news came harsh lashings for Marcin from his mother, and his father wasn't around to stop them. Several months later, when the war was finally coming to a close, was when they were informed of his father's death. His mother became depressed and no longer did anything to take care of either of them, and Marcin quickly became driven to madness. Then came his silence.
One evening, his mother took her life and he was unable to stick around any longer. He fled, not knowing where he would go. Somewhere along the way, he met a beautiful woman who called herself Rebekah. She took him in, cared for him, had him bathed and fed. Marcin quickly learned to care for her and she seemed to reciprocate the feelings.
When it came time that she told him she was a vampire, he was certain he wanted the same fate. She granted his wish, and soon after, she left him to flee with her bother. She never gave any explanation, only that they were going to America to escape from someone. He soon decided to go himself, needing to make a new life with the gift Rebekah had given him.

Name: Kevin Kwan
Age: 18
Race (if Vampire, which line): Human
Background: Kevin was born and raised in Mystic Falls. He mostly stuck to himself and the kids from Choir and Theatre. He was, in general, an average student. Though he excelled in his singing and acting. He's very confident in his talents and he isn't afraid to boast about them. Often times, people find him to be a little arrogant and can get annoyed with him if they take it that way. He lives with his mother and three sisters and has a weekend job at the local movie theatre to help support his family at home. He's a fantastic cook and loves his dog, River, more than anything.
