Background: Indie was born on Earth but moved to live on the Citadel when she was eleven because her father had received a job at C-Sec. Her mother and her were very close and so when she passed away just before Indie's 18th birthday, she lost sight of her dreams. Her father suggested she join the military and so she joined up with the Alliance Navy. She threw herself into it and found herself making her way up the ranks quickly. At 25 she reached N7 status and the title of Staff Lieutenant. When asked to be aboard the Normandy for the mission to Eden Prime, she happily accepted, glad to be able to work under Captain Anderson. She requests to stick around for Commander Shephard's mission to bring down Saren and is thrilled when accepted on board.
